Since 2002 Total Court Services of Michigan, owned and operated by Aaron L. Diamond, pursuant to the repeat offender legislation 257.904d., has been providing immobilization for District and Circuit Courts throughout Michigan and has immobilized over 1000 vehicles in nearly every County in the State.
In addition, Total Court Services has a full office staff, an 800 telephone number, 24 hour answering service, allowing the defendant to reach Mr. Diamond at any time.
Total Court Services adheres to one main policy, “The court’s order will be executed exactly as the court order indicates.” The procedures to institute our policy are as follows:
- Upon receipt of the court’s order, Total Court Services will guarantee that the defendant will be contacted immediately and the vehicle will be immobilized within 24-hours.
- At the time of immobilization, Total Court Services will make a record of the vehicle’s mileage, location of the vehicle, and the defendant will receive a copy of the immobilization certificate along with a copy of their contract.
- Total Court Services will send confirmation of the immobilization to the court, via fax.
- In the event that the defendant is not immobilized by the date specified on the court order, the court will be notified immediately of the noncompliance, via fax.
- Immobilization will not be removed until date indicated on original court order or additional court authorization has been sent, regardless of what the defendant claims.
- Enclosed are samples of the types of immobilization devices, the contract between Total Court Services and the defendant, court immobilization form, schedule of payments, and court compliance letter.
Due to economic times, Total Court Services is no longer requiring full payment up front at the time of install. The defendant will pay $112.50 at install (1st month rental, installation fee and mobile fee). The defendant will then make monthly installments of $37.50 and a one-time $50 fee for removal/mobile service.
